1.) Q: Why did it take Kreon the entire play to understand the error in his thoughts about the burial of Polyneices?
A: I don't think he was the sort of person who thought things through. Much like Antigone, he reminded me of someone who based their thoughts off passionate feelings. He was very adament about not conceeding his feelings for Polyneice's actions until it was too late.

Q If Ismene was to be the wife of Haimon, why did he kill himself over Antigone?
A: I felt that he was simply very against what his father was saying and doing, and that was the ultimate way of letting him know that.

Q: Why did Ismene suddenly have a change of heart and defend Antigone?
A: I felt that Ismene wanted to agree with Antigone all along but simply feared the consequences.

2.) My biggest difficulty with the play was understanding the relationship that each person had with one another. I had to continuously refer to the front part of the play and get a better understanding of how they all related to one another. I just couldn't understand why Kreon wanted his own family to be treated that way.

3.) I liked the passion that each character had for their beliefs, even if I didn't necessarily agree with it.
